Veganism is the practice of abstaining from the use of animal products, particularly in diet, and an associated philosophy that rejects the commodity status of animals.
An individual who follows the diet or philosophy is known as a Vegan.
Vegan philosophy & political focus.
Vegans oppose speciesism, fishing, hunting, trapping and animal farming, particularly factory animal farming.
Despite the work of animal rights activists, animals are still being exploited by some humans for perceived personal gains.
Many major corporations and individuals have normalised the abuse of animals for financial gain, creating a false narrative around the need for humans to use animals or things derived from animals as products and consumables. People who use animals as products and consumables are known as non-vegans & on average live shorter lives than Vegans.
The Vegan Party wants to protect animals from lives of slavery and deaths to become food.
We believe in freedom for all living things & that through Veganism we can make our difference by redirecting money which otherwise may cause harm to an animal - to a vegan alternative. We aim to make people aware of the positive effect, becoming or being Vegan, will have on themselves, the climate, others around them, future generations, nature and animals.
We created The Vegan Party so that anyone can promote and spread Veganism.
